The Peaks

Traverse Line runs regular expeditions to both Island Peak and Mera Peak (including extensions to the Amphu Lapcha pass). These are both justly popular climbs, attainable by trekkers with little or no climbing experience, who have an adventurous, outgoing nature, and are prepared to ascend to altitude.  These peaks have well established routes and are comparatively easy to supply. Full details of these climbs are accessed from the left hand menu.

We can also arrange climbs of other less-visited trekking peaks.  Access to these peaks is less developed, and you are likely to encounter few commercially operated groups - they tend to be in remoter places, particularly the Chulu Peaks, and Pisang Peak, located in Manang, on the rain shadow side of the Annapurna massif.  We have the means to support expeditions to these peaks in full.  Please contact us if you require further information.

For those with climbing experience (preferably Alpine PD+ or Alpine AD), we are also able to arrange expeditions to climb Baruntse (7129m).  Pervious experience of climbing above 6000m is advised.  Baruntse is not classified as a trekking peak, and a formal permit will need to be sought by us.
